Sick perv filmed ‘100 women’ in changing room using ‘out of context’ clock cam

A twisted weirdo who used a hidden camera to record footage of women undressing has been jailed for 20 months.

Wedding photographer David Glover placed the camera in a changing room at his photographic studio in Cambridgeshire and is thought to have captured images of at least a hundred women.

Glover's sick plot was only discovered when a partner of one of the women being photographed "noticed in the changing room an alarm clock that looked remarkably out of context,” Peterborough Crown Court heard.

Glover, 48, admitted five counts of voyeurism involving 35 women. He was jailed for 20 months and ordered to sign the sex offenders' register.

Thomas Brown, prosecuting, said footage that police found on Glover's electronic devices showed images of a further "70 or so" women that are yet to be identified.

He added that Glover ran a business producing portfolios for young women hoping to become fashion models as well as working as a wedding photographer. "He was well thought of," he said.

One victim Francesca Rowden, waived her right to anonymity in order to speak out about Glover's actions. She told reporters that said she “felt really sick” when she found out she had been secretly recorded.

The 32-year-old mother-of-two, who was in court to see Glover sentenced, added: "I kind of wanted to be really angry but he just didn’t seem to show any remorse.

“He was just eyes down, even when we were standing up reading our statements and crying he didn’t seem to show any emotion at all.

Discussing Glover's sentence, Francesca added: “I just think maybe he could have maybe got a bit more.

“I’ve seen how this has affected a lot of the girls. Only being able to give him 20 months is a bit of a kick of the teeth.

“We need to find the rest of the girls now…"

Speaking outside the court, Cambridgeshire Police’s DC Pete Wise urged any other potential victims to come forward.

He said: "If you were photographed in a photo shoot by David Glover, and you think you may be one of these unidentified victims, we ask that you contact Cambridgeshire Constabulary so we can find you the justice you deserve."

One of the women contacted by police said it made her "skin crawl" to think that she had allowed Glover to take pictures of her baby.

In a statement read to the court, another said she felt "utterly violated" at being filmed in what she thought was a private space. A statement from another victim said "the guy is an absolute creep".

DC Wise said the women who had given evidence deserved praise for their courage and determination.

"I have to praise the strength of the victims,” he said. “They have been on board all the way through this process… it has been a long process.

"For some of them it has been four years, for some of them three years. It has been very emotional, getting the evidence, and the victim personal statements.

He added that Glover appeared to show “no real remorse” for his offending.
