Prince William and Kate Middleton hopped on the Tube and pulled a pint at a London boozer ahead of King Charles' Coronation, but his efforts behind the bar were branded 'abysmal'.
He and The Princess of Wales enjoyed a lunchtime pint at the Dog and Duck pub in Soho after arriving using the Elizabeth Line for the very first time, jumping on at Acton and riding three stops to Tottenham Court Road.
Helped out by a member of staff, the future king could be seen pumping away at the beer tap with William pulling a limited edition Kingmaker Pale Ale.

A voice off-camera could be heard saying that it was "expertly done", but William didn't appear too sure as he admired his handiwork, sarcastically replying "oh really?" to the amusement of others.
And the 40-year-old added to the amusement by asserting that he was better at drinking pints than he is at pulling them.
With an unsure "ta da", William revealed the rather sorry-looking pint, which his "very good tutor" hailed as "perfect".
William added: "I'm not too bad at drinking pints".
The Mirror reported how he and Kate attended their pub engagement in Soho, after shocking Elizabeth Line users with their visit.
The pair took the time to meet staff members from other local businesses ahead of the upcoming Coronation weekend.
When asked about their own plans for the Coronation, Kate replied: "Yes, it's going to be a busy time. We're getting there. I still feel like we're trying to get ducks in a row."

Yesterday, William and Kate were seen at Westminster Abbey with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, where they were taking part in an all-important rehearsal for the day itself.
Reacting to their boozy lunchtime engagement, one Twitter user said "Lovely that Prince William and his wife Kate are enjoying a pint in Soho. We are blessed to live in a stable monarchy.
"Super excited about the coronation this weekend."
A second person added, in response to a tweet from the Wales' Twitter page: "Huge crowd! Looks like they greatly enjoyed your visit. Prince William pulls a mean pint!"
But not everyone was so full of praise, with one bloke saying: "How's William "poured the perfect pint" of CIDER? You can play rugby with a barrel of cider & trust a child to 'pour the perfect pint' afterwards!
"At his age, he should really be on the properly pumped Stouts & Ales now – get that wrong & we'll all know."
