Transgender activist Rose Montoya has apologized for flashing her breasts at a White House Pride event last week.
The controversial model, 27, issued the apology by positing a video to Twitter on Friday in which she apologized to the President and the LGBT community for her ‘unbecoming’ behavior.
‘In a quick moment of fleeting and overwhelming trans joy, I decided to do something unbecoming of the guest of the president at the White House lawn celebration’ Montoya said.
‘I want to take this moment to apologize for the impact of my actions.
‘I especially want to apologize to my black trans brothers and siblings, especially transgender women who are black’ she went on.

‘Because I understand that you all are constantly at a disproportionate level, impacted by the actions of others, and especially by anti-trans violence’ she explained.
Montoya also apologized to her family and friends who she claims have been ‘harassed’ in the aftermath of the incident.
The influencer then directly apologized to the president and ‘the nation’ concluding, ‘it was also never my intention to create a situation that would lead to harassment and harm of myself and others, nor for trans joy like my little moment of trans joy to be weaponized by vile people of the opposition.’
Montoya has since been banned from the White House after going topless at a Pride Event where she met the President.
Rose Montoya, 27, unhooked the top of her dress and grabbed her chest on the South Lawn on Saturday, as someone shouted, ‘are we topless at the White House?’
Video of the move went viral on social media, and was condemned by the White House.
On Tuesday, a White House spokesman told DailyMail.com: ‘This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event at the White House.
‘It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance.

‘Individuals in the video will not be invited to future events.’
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre reiterated that point at her Tuesday press briefing.
‘Individuals in the video certainly will not be invited to future events. And this has not occurred before. This was not a normal thing that has happened under this administration,’ she said.
Montoya was one of thousands invited to a Pride Month concert on the South Lawn on Saturday at the White House.
Montoya shared an Instagram montage of the day with her 103,000 followers, and was seen dancing to the DJ and striking poses in front of landmarks such as the Washington monument and the Truman balcony of the White House.
She is also seen meeting Jill Biden, and trying to take a selfie with the president – with the camera mistakenly on video, rather than photo.
During her encounter with President Biden, she also said: ‘Trans rights are human rights.’
She captioned the video: ‘I had the honor of attending White House Pride, the largest one in history where the Pride flag flew for the first time.
‘This is trans joy. We’re here at the White House unapologetically trans, queer, and brown.’
When the video went viral, she pointed out that being topless in public was not illegal in Washington DC.
The White House hosted the concert after postponing it from its original Thursday date due to the smoke that blanketed the city from the Canadian Wildfires.
Biden and his administration have emphasized they are allies to the LGBTQ movement.

Montoya has been open about her September 2020 breast augmentation, November 2020 trachea shave – to remove an Adam’s Apple, and March 2021 genioplasty, which makes the chin more feminine. Montoya has not undergone bottom surgery.
After her final surgery, Montoya went viral after she denounced airport checks, calling them insensitive and inappropriate.
Montoya was flying from Phoenix to Los Angeles when she was stopped at security after the full-body scanner detected an ‘anomaly’ between her legs.
‘Can we talk about how horrible it is to travel while being transgender sometimes? I always have immense anxiety leading up to going through security,’ the Hispanic model explained in her viral TikTok, which has been viewed 19 million times.
‘And this means that I totally recognize the privilege of having all of my documents correct,’ she continued.
‘So, the gender marker on my license, for example, says female.
‘But, going through the scanner, there’s a male scanner and a female scanner in the TSA checkpoint.’
Montoya, who has more than 481,000 TikTok followers, has been using her platform to educate others about the difficulties trans people face.
