Our seaside town is a battleground with knife-wielding youths running riot…it's getting worse & no one can stop it | The Sun

FUMING residents say their seaside town is a battleground with knife-wielding youths running riot – and that no-one can stop them.

Eastfield, near Scarborough in North Yorkshire, is home to gangs of teens who "fight over everything".

Cops in the once-sleepy coastal town said that in April and May alone there were 57 violent offences – including 18 cases of arson and criminal damage.

Local teen Owen, 18, told ExaminerLive: "There’s f*** all around here.

"There’s lots of fighting, people fight over everything. You get used it. If we see fights, we’re sat there egging them on.

"If you don’t get involved in that s***, you haven’t got anything to worry about – you’re sound."
