Equiti Group, a leading global financial services provider, announced today that it has appointed Chantelle Johnson, an industry veteran with more than two decades of experience in global financial markets, as the Group’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
The press release shared with Finance Magnates states that the newly appointed CMO will be responsible for overseeing strategic marketing direction across the brand’s portfolio. Equiti Group is planning to accelerate its customer growth through research-led digital strategies.
Chantelle has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate world. She worked in different regions including new and emerging markets in Africa, Asia, Europe, LATAM, the Middle East, UK and the USA. In her latest role, Chantelle served as Global Chief Marketing Officer at OANDA.
“I am incredibly excited to join the experienced leadership team and diverse Equiti Group, with Equiti rapidly establishing itself as a global market leader, with their range of product offerings, both existing and yet to be launched, I am confident we can drive the business onto its next phase of rapid growth through digital innovation and continuous investment into the brand,” Chantelle commented.
The latest announcement came nearly two weeks after Equiti Capital, the UK arm of Equiti Group, announced the appointment of Paul Webb as Chief Operating Officer.
Expansion
Last week, Equiti Capital UK received a $10 million capital injection from Equiti Group to support its several strategic business expansion initiatives. In a recent discussion with Finance Magnates, Iskandar Najjar, CEO of Equiti Group, highlighted the Group’s substantial growth in H1 of 2021 and mentioned that the Group is planning to expand its team in the future to accelerate Equiti’s global expansion.
