Nodle, a decentralized wireless network for the Internet of Things (IoT), has announced a strategic partnership with US eSports streamer ESTV.
Notably, ESTV has over 29.6M unique viewers and 124.8M global viewership minutes. ESTV is also currently available in 45 countries on top platforms such as Samsung TV Plus, Amazon Fire TV, and Hisense, among others. Nodle, on the other hand, is a citizen-powered network that provides cost-efficient and secure connectivity. The team-up will therefore increase access to the Nodle network and improve user experience. More so, it will provide a new revenue stream for ESTV through Nodle Cash mining.
Nodle networking library will be incorporated into the soon-to-be-released ESTV mobile app. Additionally, the Nodle Cash App will be conspicuously shown and advertised all through ESTV’s 24/7 worldwide broadcasts. Promoters of its download will include the ESTV network itself, anchors, tournaments, athletes, celebrities, and ESTV’s present and future partners.
As they enjoy their favorite teams and games, users can opt into Nodle Cash to earn passive income in form of Nodle Cash. Earnings can also be made through the ESTV mobile app. Thereafter, they can use proceeds to acquire ESTV gear among other ESTV offerings.
Nodle Cash is remotely mined using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and the “Proof of Connectivity” algorithm. Through this technology, any smartphone owner can automatically scan for nearby BLE-enabled IoT devices and sensors. They can then move small bits of data, such as temperature, location, foot traffic, air quality, and from their phone to the cloud.
Moreover, all transactions are encrypted to maintain user privacy. Nodle’s customers such as businesses, manufacturers, and smart cities pay for decision-making data from IoT devices and sensors. In turn, users who take part in uploading this data get rewarded in Nodle Cash.
“This will be one of our first major collaborations in bridging the Nodle Network to the booming world of gaming and esports,” Micha Benoliel, CEO and co-founder of Nodle noted.
“We are thrilled to have our Nodle brand associated with ESTV and can’t wait to see it being used in tournaments where everyone wins with Nodle Cash,” added Garrett Kinsman, co-founder of Nodle and also the VP of Sales and Growth.
ESTV’s founder and CEO Eric Yoon commented, “We are excited to partner with Nodle to deliver their technology to our upcoming ESTV mobile app. Global ESTV users will be able to earn Nodle Cash while watching live tournament events, as well as while enjoying our vast ESTV content library. The more our viewers view content on the ESTV mobile app, the more Nodle Cash they’ll earn. This partnership is truly a win-win for ESTV viewers and users, Nodle, and ESTV!”
