Konsolidator announced on Monday that it has onboarded Olov Lindqvist as its new Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately.
In a press release shared with Finance Magnates, Olov Lindqvist, an engineer with considerable leadership and management experience, has been named by Konsolidator, a financial consolidation software company, as its new Chief Technology Officer. He will be responsible for the growth of its development team and technological landscape.
Lindqvist brings invaluable experience to the management team from Saxo Bank as Director and Global Head of platform development. In addition, Lars Højer Paaske, the previous CTO, will take the new role, Head of Product Development, to focus intensely on customers as well as strategic direction and Konsolidator platform features.
Lindqvist’s Vocational Trail
Earlier on, Lindqvist served Saxo Bank for over four years. He reconnected with the company, as an Associate Director / Principal Project Manager in Spring 2017. After that, the company promoted him to Regional Head of Platform Development People. Shortly after, he received another promotion to Director / Global Head of Platform Development. He was in charge of the delivery of 14 front-end software development teams spread across India, the UK, Poland and Denmark, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Before Saxo Bank, Deloitte Danmark benefitted from Lindqvist’s experience as a Manager.
In November 2013, he rejoined Saxo Bank as Associate Director / Principal Project Manager. For almost two and a half years he successfully headed the delivery of several enterprise-wide IT projects.
While at Netcompany A/S he fulfilled the position of Manager from August 2012 to November 2013. His role partly involved the delivery of software projects to major Danish and international clients, based on an in-house collaboration software product.
Prior to Netcompany A/S, olov.dk was where Lindqvist worked as a Freelance IT Consultant over a five year period.
This IT engineer first became a consultant for Saxo Bank in 2009. He triumphed in the development team lead role in the bank as a self-employed IT consultant for two years.
Before consulting for Saxo Bank, Microsoft employed him as a consultant for ten months. He was an Information Worker consultant at Microsoft Denmark with a special focus on Microsoft’s collaboration products.
In addition at Netcompany, he served first as a consultant in February 2005. He consulted on several IT projects, implementing IT systems for major Danish clients for almost two years. Then, he moved up to the post of Senior Software Architect and consultant with application architecture as primary areas of competence.
Taking the Konsolidator Team to the Next Level
Currently, Lindqvist is an owner and freelance consultant for Implement IT Sweden AB. He has worked here since Autumn in 2009. As he continues this role, he will additionally report to Konsolidator CEO, Claus Finderup Grove.
