THIS audio clip relays the "crazy" moment an "intruder UFO" was spotted zooming at high speed over the US state of Oregon.
Air traffic controllers were left baffled when the mystery object appeared on the radar – then chillingly disappeared without a trace.
Even F-15 fighter jets scrambled to intercept the bizarre sighting couldn't spot it.
Now audio tapes obtained by The Drive reveal the hours of confusion that ensued after the "white speck" zoomed across the sky on October 25 last year.
The alarm was first raised to Oakland Center Sector 31, near the border of Oregon at 4.30pm.
The object travelled over Crater Lake towards the Willamette Valley and was moving "very fast at 37,000 feet" when it was first spotted.
The Radar Operator says: "You know that target south of the boundary there? The 0027 code moving very fast at 37,000?"
The Oakland Center Controller replies: "Oh, look at that thing."
"Yeah, it's crazy," the operator said.
To which the controller asks: "Huh, um and you don’t have anything on him?"
"I've got nothing," replies the operator.
Officials followed the object – described as a "white plane"- on the radar but were unable to track it or contact it as the aircraft did not have a working transponder.
Later, a United Airlines flight called in, saying that the large white plane had no markings on it to identify itself.
The pilot says: "Hey it's United 612. It’s just a white speck out there. We can see it, but there’s no identification on it. Just uh, that it’s there."
Air control are clueless about the meaning of the plane in the extensive audio clip.
The sightings of the plane continued for 30 minutes and stretched hundreds of miles.
The Drive said that the same report was called in over and over again: a white aircraft was seen cruising around 37,000 feet but it was too far away to decipher the type of plane it was.
Just 27 minutes after the plane was spotted, F-15 fighter jets from Portland were deployed from Portland International Airport in an attempt to find and intercept it.
The controller on the audio repeatedly asks airlines to check their systems for the nearby aircraft in an attempt to position the UFO, but by that point the plane was nowhere to be found.
When the jets were sent out, one craft asks for a location on the aircraft.
The air control agent reported no track on the plane, saying it must be in "stealth mode or something".
The last time the aircraft was spotted was by pilots descending into Portland International Airport.
The unexplained aircraft posed danger to air traffic and may be of potential national security concern.
