An embittered man who watched his friends win £600,000 on a lottery pool has announced he intends to sue them for his share of the winnings.
Canadian Philip Tsotsos could only watch on in resentment as his 16 friends won a mammoth score last summer in a lottery pool that he had not paid to be a part of.
His friends won the massive prize money through the Maxmillion prize on a Lotto Max ticket from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, reports CBC.
However, they have said that as Tsotsos did not pay the amount he needed to stay in the pool, he is now not entitled to any of the money.
This has not sat well with Tsotsos however who now intends to sue his buddies and make off with his share of the loot.
He said: "Their dreams came true. Why should they steal mine?
"Why wouldn't they tell me they won? These guys are like family to me.
"It's c****y what they're doing to me. I don't wish them anything bad. I wish them nothing but success in life, but why ruin my dream?"
Tsotsos intends to sue his friends for the grand sum of £40,000 which he believes he is owed.
According to Tsotsos, the winning ticket returned £49,700 divided 16 ways meaning for him to be included everyone would just receive £3,500 less.

At the time of the draw, Tsotsos had only $18 (£14) in his lottery account which was not the agreed $25 (£20).
Not content to roll over, the lucky 16 have employed a defence lawyer to fight their case.
The group's defence lawyer David Robins said: "Mr Tsotsos did not pay to play, so we deny that he is entitled to any of the relief that he is seeking, and we'll be vigorously defending the claim.
"In this instance, he did not play and he was not included."
