TWO teenage boys have died after a car smashed into a bridge near Peterborough.
The youngsters, 13 and 17, were travelling in a blue BMW 320 being driven by a 16-year-old lad when it crashed in the early hours of Saturday.
The vehicle left Crowland Road by the A16 in Cambridgeshire at around 12.50am.
Emergency services raced to the scene and the three teens were rushed to Addenbrooke's Hospital with life threatening injuries.
Sadly, the two passengers, both from Peterborough, died yesterday.
The driver, also from Peterborough, has been arrested in connection with the collision and remains in hospital.
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the collision, saw the vehicle in the moments leading up to it, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward quoting incident 29 of 14 May.
