Children ‘traumatised’ as random man leaps into school and slaughters chickens

An unknown man has hopped the fence into a primary school and slaughtered a group of chickens, leaving the children traumatised.

The shocking incident occurred at around 7pm on July 13 at White Hills Primary School in Bendigo, Australia.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said that the man also took some of the chickens with him.

An investigation has now been launched into the shocking incident.

Yesterday (July 25) a police statement read: "Police are investigating an incident of theft and animal cruelty at a primary school in White Hills earlier this month.

"Investigators have been told an unknown male attended the school around 7pm on Wednesday 13 July. The man jumped a fence into the school’s chicken coop, killing a number of chickens and then fleeing the scene, taking some of the chickens with him.

"The man was perceived to be of small build and was wearing a white hooded-top.

"Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Bendigo Police Station 54481300."

This comes after police in Japan started to arm officers with tranquiliser guns following a spate of vicious monkey attacks.

Macaques in Yamaguchi city have recently bitten 42 people including kids and the elderly.

The beasts scratched the legs of a four-year-old girl and on one occasion even broke into a nursery school.

Police patrols were stepped up after the first attack in July, but traps have failed to catch the culprit or culprits.

"It's rare to see this many attacks in a short period of time," said one city official.

"Initially only children and women were attacked. Recently elderly people and adult men have been targeted too."
