A drugged-up bloke has been sentenced for killing a Las Vegas glamour model who died after she was injected with muriatic acid, before she was encased in cement and dumped in the desert.
Esmeralda Gonzalez, 24, was reportedly tied to a bedpost and injected with pool cleaner by Christopher Prestipino and his roommate Casanra Garrett, according to court documents.
Reports at the time stated she wandered into Prestipino's home and he got her high on methamphetamine. She began speaking in tongues, according to police, and the bloke tied her up.

She was left tied up for an extended period, it is claimed, and when she came around she punched Prestipino and threatened to call the police. First he strangled her, then he poisoned her, it is claimed.
The horrifying murder took place in May 2019, although her remains were not found until October, encased in concrete and dumped in a desert north of Vegas.
And now, court records show that Prestipino pleaded guilty via a no contest plea on March 13 to felony kidnapping and murder.
Fox 5 Vegas reports the court can treat the defendant as guilty without the defendant having to admit guilt because of his plea type, also known as an 'Alford plea'.
A judge sentenced Prestipino to 10 to 25 years in prison on the charges.
Garrett pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in February 2021, according to court records. Lisa Mort, who was also arrested in connection with Gonzales' death, pleaded guilty as an accessory to murder in February 2020.
According to an arrest report cited by Fox, Prestipino strangled Gonzalez while he was high on methamphetamine.

Gonzalez was first reported missing from her Las Vegas home by her brother who arrived to find her property ransacked.
People reported seeing the adult entertainer – who boasted more than 300,000 followers on Instagram – walking around her neighbourhood the day before her death. She was wearing high heels and lingerie and asking for a ride.
In the early hours of May 31, Gonzalez was seen on CCTV trying to open the door to a home, less than one fifth of a mile from Prestipino's home.
Prosecutors said in court documents: "The occupants awoke and advised Esmeralda she was at the wrong house. Esmeralda's gait was unsteady and she appeared disoriented."
She is then thought to have gone to Prestipino's home.
Homicide detectives received a tip off roughly two months later, suggesting that Gonzalez had been killed.
Another tipster told police that Prestipino told a friend "he killed the missing girl".
