THE FAMILY of Jodi Jones have hit out at campaigners, who claim her killer is innocent, for selling keyrings and T-shirts to pay for his 'fight for justice'.
Lifer Luke Mitchell, 34, was convicted of killing his 14-year-old girlfriend Jodi in 2003 in Dalkeith in Midlothian.
He was sentenced to 20 years in prison after being found guilty of the brutal murder of Jodi who was found stripped, stabbed and nearly decapitated near her home.
Mitchell has always denied killing Jodi, and now his campaigners are selling keyrings and T-shirts to help “fund his fight for justice”.
The Daily Record reports that Dr Sandra Lean, who has openly supported the killer since 2006, filmed a video which was shared on YouTube flogging the items.
The clip showed T-shirts with slogans on them that have “Open your eyes to the lies” on the front with "Justice for Jodi and Luke" on the back.
But Jodi's heartbroken family have hit out at the campaigners, calling the "sickening" items "murder merch".
A relative told the Daily Record: "The campaign and selling murder merch is basically just fuelling the egos of Mitchell and other people involved.
" For months we’ve had to sit and listen and watch lie after lie being fed to the public and now Mitchell is being treated like a famous person and idolised.
"It’s sickening. This isn’t justice for Jodi.

"We have seen misinformation being fed to the public who don’t know any better.
"What exactly are they funding? If it was legal fees, who is the lawyer and what are they doing?
"All legal avenues are finished for Mitchell.”
Last month we told how Mitchell, who could be released on parole within the next 18 months, failed a prison drug test.
It stalled his test for freedom with campaigners claiming he could spend another three years behind bars as a result.
He was moved to HMP Greenock in July 2021 from high-security HMP Shotts.
And he's been housed in the Greenock nick's Chrisswell House, which is typically used to help long-term prisoners progress into an open prison.
But plans for community visits were taken away after Mitchell failed two random drug tests.
