FOX News’ Gianno Caldwell’s teenage brother has been shot dead in Chicago amid a weekend of violence in the city.
Christian Caldwell, 18, was shot dead and two others were injured after gunfire broke out in Morgan Park early Friday morning, local reports say.
Around 50 shell casings were found at the scene and bullets went through windows of nearby houses, CBS reported.
The suspect fled the scene in a black van, according to cops.
So far, no arrests have been made.

“I received a call informing me that my teenage baby brother was murdered on the south side of Chicago. Never could I have imagined my baby brother’s life would be stolen from him,” he wrote alongside a picture of his smiling sibling in his graduation outfit.
The older Caldwell, 36, told Fox News Saturday he now wants justice.
“What I’m looking for right now is details from the police to discover who it was that murdered my brother. [My] baby brother never had a chance,” he said.
“I would never want to see any street justice or violence against the people who even murdered my little brother. But I do want them brought to justice,” he added.
The news comes after a weekend of violence which left at least four people dead, including a five-month-old baby girl.
The infant, who Police identified as Cecilia Thomas, was hit in the head by a bullet coming from another car in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago.
She was taken to the hospital, where she died from her injuries.

A local business owner told ABC7 Chicago the girl's father pulled over near 71st Street and Crandon Avenue about a mile and a half away from the shooting after she began crying.
A 41-year man who was in a separate car was shot around the eye, and was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive his injuries.
In the first shooting of the weekend, a man, 20, was shot in the West Pullman neighborhood Friday evening, reports CBS News.
Police said at around 8.10pm, an unknown offender fired shots, in the 11700 block of South Princeton – striking the victim in the neck.
A man, 28, was shot while walking in Washington Park Friday night.
Police said the victim was walking on the sidewalk, in the 300 block of East 59th Street at around 8.18 p.m., when shots were fired by unknown offenders.
Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the body in Roseland.
The victim, 45, was discovered in the 10700 block of South Champlain around 10:59 pm.
The victim was transported by Chicago Fire Department to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
So far in 2022, crime in Chicago has risen 34 per cent, according to the latest figures from the city's police department.
