A royal correspondent has predicted that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle now face their "biggest threat" of running out of currency and losing their powerful position.
Although they are no longer working royals, the famous couple remain firmly in the spotlight thanks to several mega-bucks media deals with the likes of Apple and Spotify.
And earlier this month, Harry announced he will be publishing an "accurate and wholly truthful" memoir next year.
However, Vanity Fair Royal Correspondent Katie Nicholl has told True Royalty TV’s programme The Royal Beat that the history books will favour the Royal Family.
She said: "I think the biggest threat to Harry and Meghan, once these book deals are done and the podcasts are done and Spotify, then what is their currency?
"This book will make the Royal Family very nervous as will many events of the future.
"But it will come good for them, because the Royal Family will always be the Royal Family.
"So I suppose there is a level of comfort in that, when you see how history has played out until now."
Prince Harry has confirmed in a statement that he was writing his memoirs "not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become".
He added: “I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story—the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned—I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.
"I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a first-hand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”
Harry's announcement shocked royal fans, with reports claiming that the Windsors are worried now about what he may say.
This follows the Sussex's exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey in March about why they chose to step down from their Royal duties.
During the interview the couple dropped a number of bombshells including about Meghan's poor mental health and comments that were allegedly made by one member of the family about the colour of then-unborn Archie's skin.
