The Israeli Prime Minister gave an update on the IDF’s bombardment of Gaza over the last nine days. Speaking on Tuesday, Mr Netanyahu said the attacks in Gaza “set Hamas back by many years”, and claimed the group had experienced “unexpected blows”. In a grim warning of further violence, the Prime Minister said the missile strikes would “continue for as long as it takes to restore calm”, despite international calls for a ceasefire. As of writing, at least 215 Palestinians, including almost 100 women and children, and 12 Israelis have been killed.
