DASHCAM footage found by a horrified lorry driver lead to a man's decomposing body being found two days after he died.
David Howard's body was found in Sydney, Australia after the driver reported that he had hit what he thought was a small animal on the Hume Highway.
The devastated driver was unaware of what he had done until he checked his dashcam, which showed that he had in fact run Mr Howard over.
He immediately called the cops and emergency services found the body at around 1pm on Wednesday, according to the Daily Telegraph AU.
An investigation is underway as to how the unfortunate pedestrian ended up on the busy road.
Tributes have poured in from family and friends on social media after the tragic news broke.

Howard has been remembered as "one of the good ones" by loved ones.
His cousin Robbie Gordon wrote on Facebook: "We’re all going to miss you, the family is trying to hold it together but we (are) all crushed
"I keep asking why do the good ones go early, but you will always be with us my cuz (cousin).
"We will meet again one day but until then we have to hold the rest of the family together."

Meanwhile, James Elli, a friend of the deceased, urged people to get support if they need it, suggesting Howard was suffering from mental health issues.
He said: "RIP David Howard, bro gone way too early.
"Anyone going through mental health issues please talk to someone #itsnotweaktospeak guys."
The search caused major traffic delays and road closures throughout the day.
