A lucky pair of National Lottery winners were convinced it "was a con" after not trusting the notification they received on the lottery app.
Despite nearly missing out on their million pound win, the couple believed their win was a scam in the making after a sceptical reception to a winning notification.
Ruth Giblin, 44, and husband Rob, 48, of Telford, landed the huge windfall but very nearly didn't buy their tickets, having to purchase their lucky lotto numbers on the day of the draw.

Ruth had purchased the winning tickets before a brief spot of karate, and received a notification the following day alerting them to their winnings.
But it wasn't until lotto company Camelot rang the couple to confirm their winnings that they realised they had become millionaires, immediately bursting into tears at the news.
Ruth said: "Rob reminded me to put the EuroMillions ticket on, as he has to every week, whilst I was out. I bought it and promptly forgot all about the ticket and went straight to Karate that evening.
"The next morning, we got up early for a swim and I saw I had an email telling me I had good news about my ticket."
Leisure centre supervisor Ruth said she was "sure it was a scam" and couldn't get in touch with Camelot until after her and Rob's morning swim.

She continued: "We talked all the way home about what we would do if it was true, but I was trying not to get my hopes up. When we finally called Camelot, they asked me what I could see and then they confirmed we were millionaires.
"We were just stunned and started crying. This win means so much to us as a family. It means I get to help my parents by building an extension onto their house so there’s enough bedrooms for everyone to sleep in."
Rob and Ruth are planning on keeping hold of their jobs and sharing the newfound wealth with members of their family, building a summerhouse for their 13-year-old daughter and a gaming room for their 16-year-old son.
