TWO people including a 19-year-old girl died after their car smashed into trees in a horror crash just days before Christmas.
The teen and 49-year-old driver were in a black Subaru when they left the road at a bend in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
Tragically both were declared dead at the scene after the car collided with some trees.
Both their families have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward following the horror at 6.20pm yesterday.
A spokesperson said: "We were called at around 6.20pm to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Broadcarr Road in Hoyland.

"The car, a black Subaru, had been travelling from the direction of Sheffield Road towards the Elsecar Heritage Centre when it left the road at a bend and collided with some trees.
"We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who was travelling in the area at the time and captured the Subaru on their dash-cam prior to the collision, to come forward."
