MIT graduate named person of interest in killing of Yale student
A man was gunned down outside a Brooklyn NYCHA building early Friday, cops said.
The 28-year-old victim was shot in the torso on Columbia Street near Bush Street, outside the Red Hook Houses around 3:10 a.m., according to police.
He was rushed to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The motive for the slaying is under investigation. Two firearms were recovered on scene, police said.
The victim’s name has not been released, pending family notification.
