Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey has landed the Duchess a difficult choice, royal experts believe.
The couple are expected to deliver explosive details about their life living in the Royal Family on Sunday night in the extended two-hour chat with Meghan's pal Oprah on CBS.
Earlier this week, the US broadcaster released three teasers of the interview to give insight to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's side of story for stepping down as senior royals.
In the preview launched on March 4, Meghan claimed the Royal Family had been spreading "falsehoods" about her and Prince Harry.
She told Oprah: "I don't know how they could expect that after all of this time we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us."
Discussing the teaser on ITV podcast Royal Rota, royal editor Chris Ship said: "I counted there were 55 words in that little clip we played about Meghan saying perpetuating lies.
"It took 20 seconds for her to say those 55 words and we've got a two-hour show. If we break down the shows to commercial breaks and other things, I'd say there's an hour and a half footage of Meghan and Harry talking to Oprah.
"If you can say those things in 20 seconds, what can you say in an hour and a half?"
Producer and co-host Lizzie Robinson said: "She (Meghan) said in that clip we're talking about that if this comes with the risk of losing things, talking like this in these terms, about their family and goodness knows what else, then she says 'if it comes with losing things, I mean there is a lot that has been lost already'.
"Are they at risk here of losing, you know, all their family connections?"
Chris Ship chimes in: "She has obviously lost most of hers as well I mean, in terms of her step sister, sorry, or half sister and her father.
"I mean the one family connection that Meghan has."
Lizzie added: "They clearly feel very strongly that they still need to have their voice, that they still need to have their say.
"I mean, they've walked away, they've got what they wanted, they've got their independent life, they've got their financial independence, they've got their deals but they clearly feel that they still need to be able to put their side of the story across."
