Meghan Markle is "trying to mess up the Royal Family", according to the designer of Princess Diana's wedding dress.
David Emanuel made the comments during an appearance on GB News yesterday, on what was the 25th anniversary of the Princess of Wales' tragic death.
When asked by host Dan Wootton what Diana would have made of Prince Harry's choice of wife, Emanuel bluntly replied: "What, the American woman?

"We've got Prince William who's doing a splendid job and we've got Harry Windsor in America with an American woman who is driving everybody nuts."
Emanuel then said that Meghan had "messed up her own family, now she's over here trying to mess up the Royal Family".
"It's shocking," he concluded.
Wootton also asked Emanuel what Diana would have made of the rumoured rift between Harry and William.
"I think she would be deeply shocked," the designer said.
"I think if she was alive it wouldn't have happened with the two brothers. She wouldn't have allowed it. She'd have smoothed the waters."
It isn't the first time that Emanuel has been openly critical of the Duchess of Sussex, or the first time he's referred to her just as the "American woman".
The host of TLC's Say Yes To The Dress UK was asked by the Daily Mail's Richard Eden for his thoughts on Meghan in July.
He said: "You mean the American woman? I can't utter the name now."
Emanuel was also "disappointed" with Meghan's choice of dress when she tied the knot with Harry in 2018.

"I tell you who she is channelling – Wally Simpson," he said, referencing the divorced American socialite who Edward VIII abdicated the throne for in 1936.
"I will stick my neck out here," he continued, "but she looked as if she was in a nurse's uniform."
