Melania Trump is no longer a "presence" at Mar-a-Lago and "rarely" interacts with her husband, Donald Trump's, staff, a person close to the couple told CNN.
Donald Trump conceded to Joe Biden in January 2020 and flew straight from the White House to Florida with his wife, Melania.
The couple own the infamous Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, where Donald has been spotted waving to supporters on a number of occasions.
Former First Lady Melania has also shown her face at the hotel but appeared to be a bit frosty with Donald, it has been claimed.
Her absence could be put down to her lack of public "presence," a person close to the couple reportedly told CNN.
The source went on to say Melania is purposefully "not mingling" with other people at the moment, and is "rarely" interacting with Donald's staff too.
"She's not a presence at Mar-a-Lago at all. She's not mingling with people and rarely interacts with her husband's staff," the person said.
To the people that know her however, Melania is "happy and relaxed," and enjoying time away from the spotlight.

Melania Trump's bizarre past gifts from husband Donald as she celebrates birthday
Donald Trump and presumably Melania are reportedly set to relocate from Florida Trump's Bedminster club in New Jersey.
A former senior administration official said Trump's aides and allies thought "Florida was going to be the center of the Earth for the next two years" as they prep Donald to run for president in 2024.
Now he's up and out of there though, it is thought Trump wanted somewhere quiet to host people privately, CNN reported.
The source added: "His Bedminster club is much more closely knit, and you really never know who's going to show up."
