The mother of Libby Squire who was found murdered after she vanished in 2019 has sent a moving message to Nicola Bulley’s partner urging him not to ‘give up hope’.
Missing mother-of-two Nicola went missing while walking her dog in the Lancashire village of St Michael’s on Friday, January 27.
Lisa Squire, the mother of 21-year-old Libby who vanished in Hull in 2019, issued a message to Paul urging him to never give up on the search for his partner.
‘Please don’t give up hope,’ Lisa said. Put one foot in front of the other and hope for that positive outcome.
She added: ‘It’s the not knowing that’s so difficult,’ The Sun reported.

Libby Squire’s body was spotted seven weeks later in the Humber Estuary by a boat crew – and the ongoing search for Nicola brings back painful memories for Libby’s grieving mother Lisa.
The search for Nicola is now entering its third week.
Peter Faulding, who carried out underwater searches for the mother-of-two, has urged others in the wider area to also be on the look out for anything out of the ordinary.
He told The Times: ‘People in the wider vicinity for several miles around St Michael’s should be looking for any suspicious activity’.
Alongside search experts, her partner Paul Ansell is now calling for a wider land search to help locate the missing 45-year-old.

Faulding, 60, spent three days last week searching any trace for the missing mother in the River Wyre.
The world-leading forensic search specialist says he is ‘confident’ the 45-year-old is not in the water, as suggested by police.

Mr Faulding said it’s time to ‘consider all options’ and has vowed to look at ‘possible deposition sites’ – especially since there was a report of ‘suspicious people hanging around’ the area where she disappeared.
He told MailOnline yesterday that ‘if someone’s in the woods I will find them.’
He has given police a map of places the body may be hidden and said these are likely to be ‘ditches, hedgerows and wooded areas’ – or anywhere it could be possible to park a car and ditch a body without being seen.
The search for the missing mother-of-two has been dogged by unfounded theories spread online by true crime cranks, conspiracy theorists and social media trolls.
The 45-year-old was last seen at around 9.10am on January 27 walking her dog Willow along the river close to her home in Inskip.
The case of the missing mother-of-two has brought back painful reminiscences for Lisa Squire, the mother of Libby who vanished in 2019.

Polish butcher Pawel Relowicz, 28, dumped Libby Squire’s body in the River Hull after raping her on a playing field in the early hours of February 1, 2019.
The married father-of-two was jailed for a minimum of 27 years at Sheffield Crown Court in February 2021.
Libby, a philosophy student at Hull University, had been out with friends when the killer chanced on her.
She caught a taxi home, which dropped her outside her house, but she didn’t go inside.
Drunk and dressed in party clothes, she had wandered in the wrong direction and laid down in the snow.
CCTV footage showed Libby, disoriented and possibly hypothermic, being ushered into a silver Vauxhall Astra which belonged to Relowicz, who lived half a mile from her house.
