But Harry and William will instead be separated by Peter Phillips during the procession at the request of the Queen.
The brothers will then not stand together for a second time as they head into St George's Chapel for the service – with William walking ahead.
It comes as…
- Prince Harry and William won't stand near each other at Philip's funeral on Saturday
- The Royal Family won't wear military uniforms at the service – instead wearing mourning coat with medals
- The full guest list of 30 attendees was revealed
- The Queen will sit alone after arriving in a Bentley with a Lady in Waiting
- The pall bearers at Prince Philip's funeral will be members of the Royal Marines
- Pregnant Meghan Markle will make 'private arrangements' to mark the funeral
Harry will follow flanked by the Earl of Snowden, while Princess Anne and Prince Charles lead the procession.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the final details of Philip's funeral today.
At 11am, the coffin will be moved from the Private Chapel in Windsor Castle to the Inner Hall, where it will remain until 2.41pm.
From there, the prince will be moved to the State Entrance, where royals including Kate Middleton, Zara Phillips and Princess Beatrice and Eugenie will make their way to the service.
The coffin will be placed on a specially-adapted, military green Land Rover Philip spent 16 years designing for his final journey.
The national anthem will then ring out as the Queen – joined by a Lady-in-Waiting – is taken in a Bentley to St George's Chapel.
At 2.45pm, the Band of the Grenadier Guards, followed by the Major General commanding the Household Division, will then lead the procession.
Different groups will then follow the Duke of Edinburgh's coffin through the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Philip's children, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Prince Charles will form one group.
Another group on the procession includes Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and David Armstrong-Jones, the Earl of Snowden.
While William and Harry will follow the Land Rover with Princess Anne's son Peter in the middle.
A national minute's silence will take place at 3pm before the 50-minute service.
Buglers from the Royal Marines will sound Action Stations to reflect Philip's life-long association with the Royal Navy.
The song is played on a warship to signal all hands should go to battle stations and is sometimes featured at the funerals of naval men.
The event will be different to any other royal funeral after Covid made the family strip back all tradition.
Just 30 mourners will be in attendance to honour Britain's longest-serving consort.
Under Covid rules, all those entering the chapel will wear a face mask and all members of the Royal Family will be seated two metres apart.
The official seating plan will be released on Saturday so it is not yet sure whether the Queen will have someone from her HMS Bubble comforting her.
All eyes will be on warring Harry and Wills, who will come face-to-face for the first time since the former left the UK for a new life in California.
The once-close pair have not been seen together at a public engagement since March last year as tensions bubbled over.
It would also be the first time they have seen each other in person since Harry and Meghan Markle's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
In the tell-all chat, Harry sensationally claimed his brother was "trapped" in the royal family.
The couple also made a damning accusation an unnamed member of the Royal Family had made a racist comment about the colour of son Archie's skin.
In the days after the interview aired in the UK, Prince William was forced into the unprecedented position of saying the royals "are very much not a racist family".
But there are hopes the brothers will have a chance to get past their differences before Harry returns to pregnant Meghan in America.
And she has reportedly encouraged her husband and his family to "put their differences aside".
He dropped everything and rushed back to the UK after Philip's tragic death on Friday aged 99.
Harry is now self-isolating at his previous martial home Frogmore Cottage after making the 5,400-mile trip from the US on Sunday.
Since returning, Harry has reportedly made contact with Charles, William, Beatrice and Eugenie.
The royal is said to want to "park any disputes" before the funeral.
In a show of solidarity, several members of the royal family have shared touching photos and tributes in memory of Philip.
Kate Middleton and Prince William released a touching photo of Philip and the Queen with seven of their great-grandchildren.
Harry also released a poignant message remembering his grandad as "master of the barbecue and legend of banter".
He said Philip was "cheeky 'til the end" and "authentically himself" throughout his more than 70 years of service to the nation.
And he thanked the dedicated royal for being a "rock" to his grandmother the Queen.
