A "SADISTIC" teen girl yelled "do it, hit him" as a doctor tortured to death begged for his life, a court heard today.
Dr Gary Jenkins, 54, died in an attack motivated by "greed, homophobia and a straightforward liking of violence".
He was left in a bloodied mess after being battered by Jason Edwards, 25, Lee Strickland, 36, and a 17-year-old girl who cannot be named, it is said.
The consultant psychiatrist died 16 days after the savage attack in Bute Park, Cardiff, in the early hours of July 20, 2021.
Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court today heard a harrowing 15 minute audio clip where Dr Jenkins was "cruelly beaten, robbed, tortured and left for dead".
The girl can be heard yelling "money" and "now" before a slew of homophobic insults are directed at the dad-of-two.
Dr Jenkins repeatedly pleads "why" and "please, stop it" before his pained moans grow quieter.
The teen girl then says "Get down", "Do it all over again", "Do it", "Hit him again" as a male voice adds: "Stamp on his head. Stamp on his head too."

The court was also played a 999 call made by Owain Williams, who told police he had heard someone being attacked in the park by "multiple men".
He is seen on police bodycam telling officers "I just want him to stay alive" as Dr Jenkins lies bloodied on the ground.
Meanwhile, CCTV showed the defendants leaving the park where Strickland used the stricken doctor's card to buy a bottle of whiskey, it was said.
Jurors heard how bystander Louis Williams, who bravely fought back to the stop the attack, described the girl as "f***ing evil and sadistic”.
The city centre park was frequented at night by men "looking for sexual contact with other men", it was said.
Dr Jenkins, who lived alone in Cardiff after separating from his wife six years earlier, was taken to hospital but died two weeks later.
He suffered several bleeds to the brain, a fractured jaw, a broken nose, swelling to the skull and multiple rib fractures.
Prosecutor Dafydd Enoch QC said the girl “took the lead” when the trio "indulged in sport" during the attack.
All three defendants have admitted manslaughter, robbery and assault but deny murder.
The trial continues.
