Torrential rain and strong gales are set to hit Britain before temperatures start to plunge as the first snowfall of the season hits early next week.
Most of the UK will be kicking back in the sunshine on Friday with temperatures as high as 17C, and Saturday will be a dry day for many, the Met Office forecasted.
Temperatures are set to drop overnight making for a chilly evening, even possibly bringing some frost, The Mirror reports.
Sunday will make for a largely cloudy day and unfortunately, the weather is expected to take a turn for the worse come Monday.
Rain will sweep from the southwest and spread through the rest of the country by Tuesday.
The Met Office also warned for caution around the north and north-west as gales could reach up to 60mph in some places.
Adam Douty, an AccuWeather senior meteorologist, told the Express that stormy weather will return after the weekend.
He said: "It does look like a stormy weather pattern will be unfolding across the UK beginning early next week as several areas of low-pressure track eastward from the Atlantic into northwestern Europe.

"This will likely bring several rounds of rain and wind across the region.
"Though it remains unclear as to if any of these systems will rise to the level of being a windstorm, they can bring wind gusts of 30-40mph to many areas, and perhaps wind gusts to 50-60mph along with the typically windy areas along the west coast leading to travel disruptions."
This pattern could, unfortunately, continue most of the week and could even last the rest of the month, he warned.
Looking ahead, the Met Office said temperatures will stay around average, maybe even slightly above, for the rest of October.
However, some forecasts now suggest snow could fall over high ground late next week, possibly the October 23-24 weekend.
