A sick school shooter who killed four students with a semi-automatic handgun given to him as a Christmas present has pleaded guilty to charges of terrorism and first-degree murder.
Ethan Crumbley, who was just 15 when he opened fire in 2021 at Oxford High School near Detroit, appeared in court surrounded by security.
The evil shooting took place just hours after worried teachers spoke to his parents in an urgent meeting about his behaviour.

A guidance councillor had previously told the court that Crumbley, now aged 16, had been found with creepy scrawlings including violent drawings of a gun and the phrase: “My life is useless.”
The troubled teenager admitted to 24 charges in total, including four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder, 12 counts of possession of a firearm and one count of terrorism.
Although a charge of terrorism is very rare in US school shooting cases, because of the impact Crumbley inflicted on the community at large the prosecutor deemed it suitable.
The pre-meditated and bloody attack saw the gunman load his firearm in the bathroom and fire over 30 shots at staff and students in a hallway.

His tragic victims were named as Tate Myre, 16, Madisyn Baldwin, 17, Hana St Juliana, 14, and Justin Shilling, 17.
Crumbley now faces the possibility of life behind bars with no option of parole and is set to appear in front of a sentencing hearing at a later date, after survivors of the shooting have told their impact statements.
The beast’s parents, James and Jennifer Crumbley, are also set to face a court to defend four counts of involuntary manslaughter.
They are accused of ignoring warning signs of the impending violence and failing to keep the gun in a safe place.
Both have denied all charges, in what is reported to be the first American school shooting case where the parents may also face punishment.
