Three intruders storm high school 'to look for student' as staff hurt trying to protect students

THREE intruders stormed a high school amid chaotic scenes as they went "looking for a student" yesterday.

Members of staff at Rhyl High School in North Wales were hurt as they tried to protect students during the shocking school raid.

The trio – thought to be two teens and an adult – tried to gain entry into the school yesterday.

And 20 pupils were later suspended for disobeying orders while staff tried to deal with the situation, it's understood.

Police are investigating the ordeal – which saw teachers getting attacked while protecting the pupils.

One parent, who didn't want to be named told NorthWalesLive: "My child said pupils were called into an assembly and told about the incident.

"And they were told that 20 kids had been suspended for not doing as they were told while staff tried to deal with it.

"It's terrible, teachers and school staff should not have to put up with this kind of thing.
