Rocker Tommy Lee has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a helicopter as they flew from San Diego to Los Angeles in 2003.

The woman said, in court documents obtained by TMZ, that she was a friend of the pilot, and he invited her to go on a trip.

But when she got to the tarmac, she found Tommy Lee, the Motley Crue drummer, waiting to board the helicopter with them.

It is not clear whether she knew Lee before the February 2003 encounter.

She claims that Lee, now 61, and the pilot drank, snorted cocaine and smoked marijuana during the flight.

She said that Lee – who had divorced his third wife, Pamela Anderson, in 1998 – then grabbed her and forced her to sit on his lap.

The woman said Lee groped and kissed her, and when she tried to pull away he grabbed her and yanked her back to him. She said he then penetrated her with his fingers and groped her breasts.

She said Lee took down his pants and attempted to force her head into his groin, but she wrestled free.

On landing in Los Angeles, Lee hugged her then left, and the woman and pilot flew back to San Diego in silence.

She said she never went to the police because she did not think she would be believed.

Lee has not responded to DailyMail.com’s request for comment.

Recently, Lee gave an interview about how he and his bandmates had no control over their alcohol and drug intake.

In an episode of comedian Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast released in October, Lee recalled drinking very heavily and doing cocaine.

He said when he and his bandmate, Nikki Sixx, ran out of cocaine, they would resort to injecting Jack Daniels with a syringe to continue partying.

‘It was quick, faster, louder and harder,’ he recalled and explained. ‘We would do this s*** all the time.’

In one particular passage, Motley Crue’s bassist Nikki Sixx talked about an incident involving Lee and admitted to ‘pretty much’ raping a woman — a confession he has since retracted and apologized for making in a statement released to Rolling Stone.

His recollection in the book stated that he tricked a woman into believing she was having sex with him in a dark closest at a party but it was actually Lee.

Later, the woman reported being raped that night in a separate incident when she left the party and attempted to hitchhike home.

The ’embellished’ story did not lead to any charges, but Motley Crue as a whole did accrue a rap sheet riddled with many instances of arrests.

Lee served just over two years of a possible three-year term after a gun possession conviction in 2021.

Most infamously, he was spared state prison but spent 180 days in jail in 1998 after he was charged with a spousal abuse felony involving Anderson.

The charge involved an incident in that past February when the authorities received a domestic disturbance call from the Baywatch star, according to MTV.

Earlier that same year, he was also involved in another case and pleaded innocent to a misdemeanor assault charge after he had an altercation with a security guard during a concert at the America West Arena in Phoenix.
