A train driver let his lover operate a New York City subway with passengers onboard, it is alleged.
Police are investigating Terrell Harris, 32, and his wannabe apprentice Dominique Belgrave, 28, who could both find themselves in prison for the reckless date on Friday.
Belgrave's footage of her taking control of a train travelling through the 50th Street, 55th Street and 62nd Street stations in Brooklyn has gone viral.
She uploaded an Instagram story that allegedly showed Harris' hands on his girlfriend's as she gripped switches and levers.
Before her account was made private, stopping the original footage clocking up any more views, Belgrave could be heard saying: "Yes, this is me operating the train right now."
The couple even took the time to pose for a selfie while responsible for safely transporting members of the public, NYPost reports.
Harris can be heard explaining to his novice understudy to watch out for the markers which tell train drivers when to stop at Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.
In response, Belgrave says: "Y’all ain’t put the stickers in a visible place!"
Calling time on her wild shenanigans, Belgrave tells the camera "Back inside I go" as she returns to the passenger seats.

Belgrave even posted a series of snaps to her Instagram page with the caption: "Conducting The D u hurdddd."
After the jaw-dropping content circulated around fellow underground drivers in New York, Harris' supervisor caught wind of it and contacted the police.
Harris earned $117,486 (£85k) in 2020 in his 10th year in the job, according to SeeThroughNY.
Interim Transit President Craig Cipriano said in a statement: "This video is beyond egregious showing a train operator who betrayed the trust of New Yorkers while creating a dangerous condition.

"I want to assure customers that the operator involved has been removed from service and will no longer be allowed to control a train."
Belgrave continued to brag about the illegal breach over Facebook and suggested the experience has given her a taste of the job which she now wants more of.
She wrote online: "All you MTA f*****s tryna add me on my Facebook and IG eat a big fat Turtle neck cheesy d*** how bout that.
"I’ll might start at the bottom but ima move my way up they gon see me in traffic."
It’s not clear whether Harris or Belgrave will face criminal charges.
