A model scientist risked death when she got up close and personal with tiger sharks.
Rosie Moore, who has been dubbed the 'world's hottest scientist', took to Instagram yesterday (Tuesday, November 7) to share footage from a recent dive with the sharks. It was captured by an underwater videographer who goes by @sideytheshark.
In it, Rosie appears with fellow diver Kristina Recalde. The pair swim right up to the tiger sharks, holding cameras as they move across the sea floor. And it isn't the first time Rosie has shared footage of a close-up tiger shark dive.

Tiger sharks grow to be around 16ft-long and weigh more than 1,000kg. The species is regarded as one of the most dangerous on the planet and is responsible for a large share of fatal shark attacks. They often visit shallow reefs and harbours, creating the potential for encounters with humans.
Earlier this year heart-stopping footage showed a tiger shark attacking an unsuspecting kayaker off the coast of Hawaii. There was also a tourist killed by a tiger shark off the coast of Egypt.
Rosie is no stranger to coming face to face with some of the planet's deadliest creatures. In September she shared a video in which she appeared alongside an alligator during a late night dive in the Florida Everglades.
She said in the caption: "Most night 'diving' in the glades starts as a swamp trot, or just a walk through areas of high water. Some areas get deep enough to swim while hiking, so I always bring a mask.
"It’s common to encounter wildlife while swimming or hiking in these areas, such as this alligator. In these situations it’s important to just stay calm and slowly back away."
