Downing Street has sought to distance itself from a timetable for lifting lockdown restrictions leaked to the press, urging the public to wait for Mr Johnson to outline his plan on Monday.
Under plans said to be being considered by ministers non-essential shops would reopen in April, followed by pubs and restaurants in May, and holidays abroad back on the cards by July.
