Angelo Galasso and Doc Lee Partner to Debut the First Physical and Digital NFT Collection

Italian luxury fashion brand Angelo Galasso has partnered with Doc Lee from Altered.tv to develop the first physical and digital NFT collectibles. Notably, the first bunch of 24 NFTs will be available on the OpenSea platform, Angelo Galasso states.

The partnership between Angelo Galasso and Doc Lee has several significant implications. For instance, Angelo Galasso is an established, respected fashion brand in the luxury products space. Similarly, Doc Lee is a reputable artist on the global stage having worked with high-profile entities such as Jaguar, Disney, and Cartier, among others.

Commenting on the development, Doc Lee noted:

“I was very excited to be approached by Angelo Galasso to work on this innovative project. The idea of creating an original piece of art in conjunction with an original item of luxury fashion is a unique and paradigm-shifting concept. The digital art piece links the digital and physical worlds. Elements of the animation are reflected in Angelo’s designs and vice versa. This is a unique opportunity for anyone interested in NFTs, art, and fashion.”

The company is aiming to leverage its industry goodwill to ensure the healthy sale of NFTs in the fashion industry. The COVID pandemic has forced all firms to up their game in terms of gaining a competitive advantage and Angelo Galasso is no different. The firm anticipates the post-COVID world will rely highly on technological infrastructure which shows in its bet on NFTs.

Angelo Galasso noted:

“We have always been regarded as pioneers in the fashion industry, and with this launch, we are exploring how new technologies such as blockchain and NFTs can help the fashion industry reduce counterfeiting and give customers an even better brand experience.”

Banking on NFTs

The announcement states that Angelo Galasso has amalgamated physical and digital artwork with the fashion industry. The firm adds that NFT winners will be able to request the physical artwork to be shipped wherever they’d want across the world. Further, the delivery fee will be paid for by the company.

That being said, Angelo Galasso added that NFT winners can also choose to collect their items at the company’s store at Knightsbridge in London. Interestingly, users who choose to collect their items in this way are entitled to have their gas fees refunded.

Moreover, Angelo Galasso has also inked a partnership with the generation 2.0 ecosystem EdenBase innovation team to produce the said NFT digital artworks.
