Delkos Research Appoints Salvatore Buccellato as CEO

Delkos Research, which provides content for forex and futures brokers based on global macroeconomic events, has appointed Salvatore Buccellato to take on the role of its chief executive officer. The appointment was effective from September 2020, according to Buccellato’s Linkedin profile.

Delkos Research is controlled by Autochartist, which has acquired a controlling stake in the firm back in 2018. Since its launch in 2016, Delkos was headed up by Barry Ubsdell who has spent the past 4 years helping build an international technology business based out of South Africa. Ubsdell has held the title of Delkos’ head of business development for nearly five years.

Salvatore joins the Johannesburg team with experience in the institutional e-commerce trading space, technology, and liquidity solutions for high frequency traders, brokerage firms, and buy-side money managers across a variety of CFD, FX, and precious metal products.

In 2018, he was named chief revenue officer at blockchain startup Lampix, a position he held for over two years.

Most notably, Buccellato founded and served as CEO for Gallant Capital Markets Ltd, the parent company of the forex broker GCMFX, which filed for bankruptcy in New York a few year ago. He also co-founded Gallant VPS, which was acquired by Beeks FX to form one of the largest virtual private server (VPS) providers in retail FX industry.

Similar to Autochartist, Delkos provides its broker clients with daily and real-time analysis for futures, stocks, indices, commodities, FX and metals products. It also provides retail traders with macroeconomic insight and news releases with dozens of brokers using its content to promote their offerings.

Using underlying technology from Autochartist, Delkos software scans market data to identify price trends and chart patterns. It then automatically alerts clients to potential trading opportunities as they emerge and enables them to trade directly from the analysis screen.
