During ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Susanna Reid, Bill Turnbull and Kevin Maguire discussed Dominic Cummings’ latest jab at the UK’s Prime Minister. Mr Maguire compared the former Chief Adviser’s attacks to Prince Harry digs at the Royal Family since leaving the monarchy.
Mr Turnbull said: “There was a story in the papers over the weekend, you remembered when he missed those 5 COBRA meetings at the beginning of the whole Covid crisis?
“The suggestion was made that he did that because he was busy writing a book about Shakespeare.
“Could that possibly be true?”
Mr Maguire replied: “Yes it could possibly be true, I am not saying it is true.
“The suggestion has come from Dominic Cummings, his former Deputy Prime Minister effectively, the aide who has turned on him now and is full of vengeance.
“He is almost the Prince Harry of the former Downing Street operation.”
Ms Reid added: “He just keeps firing salvos doesn’t he, Dominic Cummings?”
