Denver weather: Temperatures dip, midweek showers possible

The record warm temperatures Denver felt this weekend will dissipate soon, brining mild fall weather.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder, Denver will reach a high of 55 degrees Monday under increasing cloud cover, with 15 mph wind gusts. The low will dip down to 32 degrees.

Tuesday will be milder but still cloudy, with a high of 61 degrees. Snow and gusty winds will develop in the mountains Tuesday night and continue until Thursday. Sick travel conditions are possible. Tuesday night sees a slight chance of rain for downtown.

Wednesday brings a 20% chance of showers on a mostly sunny day with a high of 58 degrees. Winds may gust to 25 mph as the threat of storms persists into the evening, changing over to snow around midnight.

Thursday could be the most active weather day and possibly Denver’s first snow of the season.

Temperatures should be back into the 60s for the weekend.
