‘Don’t do it!’: Husky desperately tries to avoid having a bath in hilarious video

Winter, who is a husky malamute cross from the US, was captured on camera showcasing how much she hates going for a dip in the tub. Viewers see the giant one-year-old pup being carried by her owner who is roughly the same size, while the canine frantically attempts to escape.

As Winter is eventually dragged into the bathroom, a voiceover can be heard hilariously reflecting what the hound must be thinking.

TikTokers hear the voice fearfully saying: “No wait, hang on, stop! You don’t wanna do this! Please don’t. I have been a good boy, I’ve been such a good boy!”

The final scene shows the husky dramatically hanging on to the door frame at the tip of her paw before finally succumbing to her soapy fate.

Since uploading the footage to their TikTok account, Winter’s fear of bath time has been watched over 17.5 million times.

Thousands of dog owners shared their reactions in the comment section, many of whom said that their four-legged friends also dislike getting a good scrub.

One person said: “Same for my dog. Why do dogs hate showers and baths so much, but love lakes and rivers?”

Another dog owner replied: “My Rottweiler is the same, he refuses to stand up in the tub so I have to get IN THE BATH to hold his back and front up for washing, it’s ridiculous.”

Others also felt that Winter had given an award-winning performance to the incident, with one TikTok user saying: “Husky’s perpetually act like they are trying to win an Oscar.”

Huskies and Malamutes are known for looking very similar to each other with their thick coats and bred to be sled dogs with gentle, loving personalities.
