Prince Harry and William want to "move on" from their dramatic public feud but "don't know how", according to a royal commentator in a new documentary.
Harry & Meghan: Three Troubled Years, looks at the growing 'rift' between the couple and members of the Royal Family, and the tensions that sparked their decision to step back as senior royals and move to California.
Since then, Harry claimed in a bombshell interview with TV chat show Oprah Winfrey The Firm 'silenced' Meghan while she battled suicidal thoughts and alleged a member of the family made racist allusions about Archie's skin colour.
In response, Buckingham Palace released a statement that said "recollections may vary".
Katie Nicholl, royal correspondent at Vanity Fair, said in the Channel 5 show that it was hard to imagine how Harry can ever reconcile with William and his father Prince Charles, even if it is what they want.
Talking about her views in the documentary, she said: "I think it's very hard to see where they are going to come back from this.

"My understanding is that William, Charles and Harry all want to be able to move on, they want to put this really difficult chapter behind them and move on from it.
"I just think it's a question of how and I don't anyone really knows the answer to that at the moment."
Prince Harry did return to UK for the funeral of his grandfather Prince Philip but the peace talks with his family were reportedly "doomed to fail".

In another tell-all interview for his and Oprah's docuseries The Me You Don't See, Harry admitted he was afraid to go to the funeral and said his heart was pounding.
In the series, which released on May 21 on Apple TV, the duke opened up about his experiences of trauma after losing his mother, the Princess of Wales.
Harry also said he was "angry" at people for mourning his mother Princess Diana when they "never even met her".
