In-N-Out food truck comes to downtown Denver for Rockies home opener

Fans headed to see the Colorado Rockies on home opening weekend can cover their bases with a pre-game burger and beverage at an In-N-Out food truck parked near Coors Field.

The fast-food company’s official food truck will be stationed at the Mile High Spirits distillery, 2201 Lawrence St., from April 6 to 8, selling its iconic burgers and fries alongside some “secret menu items,” according to an announcement.

The Rockies will play the Washington Nationals all three days, and the mobile kitchen, which is more akin to an 18-wheeler than your average food truck, will be open prior to each game.

Here’s the catch: Customers can’t just walk up to the food truck and order. Instead, they need to purchase a $20 ticket, which buys one meal plus a cocktail from Mile High Spirits, such as a cucumber-lime vodka fizz or tequila strawberry lemonade. The deal excludes the distillery’s menu of Old Fashioned cocktails and spirit flights.

Tickets are currently on sale via Eventbrite and will also be sold at the door on opening weekend. Here’s when the In-N-Out food truck is scheduled to be at the distillery:

  • April 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • April 7 from noon to 3 p.m.
  • April 8 from noon to 4 p.m.

Can’t swing by on baseball’s opening weekend? No sweat. In-N-Out is on a restaurant-opening blitz in Colorado, with two soon-to-come locations in Denver and Loveland.
