Mormon influencer known for ‘soft swinging’ arrested over domestic violence

A Mormon influencer who was exposed for “soft swinging” with her ex-husband has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and assault charges.

Mum-of-two Taylor Frankie Paul, who has four million followers on TikTok, was arrested and booked by police in Utah, United States, at around 2am last Saturday (February 18), according to documents reviewed bythe New York Post.

Taylor, 28, was released by the Herriman police department eight hours later on misdemeanour charges of assault, criminal mischief and domestic violence in the presence of a child.

She shares a five-year-old daughter Indy and a two-year-old son Ocean with her ex-husband Tate Paul.

The couple got divorced last year because of the “soft swinging” they took part in, which involved both partners in a couple agreeing to “do things” with other couples but not go “all the way”.

She’s previously admitted to actually “going all the way” with one person in her friend group without approval from either spouse, which was supposedly against the rules they had.

Since her divorce last year, she started dating fellow influencer Dakota Mortensen, who told the Daily Mail he’s as in the dark about her arrest as everyone else is, saying: “I’m not even allowed to speak with her.

“I’m going to wait for everything to come out before I speak on it."

While some may see Taylor’s arrest as coming out of the blue, the influencer has made some bizarre posts over the past year that document her downward spiral.

In TikToks posted last year, she claimed her life was “falling apart” while showing clips of herself moving boxes and admitting to getting divorced and starting therapy.

Her account has since become a hub for gossip, alluding to secrets held by other influencers and hinting that she may even get kicked out of her church.

The Daily Star has contacted Taylor Frankie Paul and Herriman Police Department for comment.
