Ex-President Donald Trump’s daughter has reportedly been making changes to the way she dresses, leading to speculation she could soon embark on a political venture. Ms Trump, who served as a senior advisor to President Trump, relocated to Florida following her family’s stint at the White House.

On Monday, rumours exploded regarding Ms Trump’s next career moves after the Daily Beast reported that the former advisor’s clothes could suggest she is pursuing a political career.

The news outlet’s style writer, Alaina Dimopoulos, wrote: “But just as her father campaigned on the false image of being an outsider and champion of the working class, Ivanka now finds herself in the midst of a precarious rebranding.

“If she wants to redeem herself, she will have to come back as the polished but relatable supermom.

“Hence the dowdy khakis and polos she wears while golfing (as if working moms actually have time to do that).”

She added: “Will she reemerge in Washington? Ivanka did tell Florida Senator Marco Rubio last month that she would not challenge him for re-election in 2022, but she has not concretely ruled out a political comeback.”

While it is unclear whether Ms Trump’s next professional move involves politics, the former First Daughter has already been warned against pursuing a political job due to her “questionable” past actions.

Speaking to news.com.au, Spencer Critchley, a former communications consultant for Barack Obama’s campaigns, said Ms Trump’s actions suggest she could be interested in broadening her political experience.

Some of these actions include “ostentatiously virtuous positions on non-controversial topics like motherhood or being kind to each other.”

One of Ms Trump’s most fiercely denounced moments during her time as a senior advisor was her attendance at the 2019 G20 meeting as part of her father’s team despite having no official ambassador certification.

Mr Critchley said: “It seems clear with the hints she’s dropped over the years that she thinks [running for office] is the logical next step.

“But Ivanka is obviously completely unqualified in terms of her experience but also in terms of her character – in many ways she’s similar to her father and she has certainly had some very shady dealings.

“Ivanka, from the beginning and even before the Trump administration, has been involved in very questionable stuff.”

Donald Trump’s daughter was also criticised by her cousin, who rejected claims she could soon become an elected official.

Mary Trump, a long-standing Trump critic, told Politico that Eric, Donald Jr and Ivanka Trump are not qualified for politics.

The ‘Too Much and Never Enough’ author said: “I think we should all resent having to have that conversation.

“Let’s put it this way: They have no qualifications, they have no skills.”
