Prince Harry rejects ‘invitation to attend King Charles’ 75th birthday party’

Prince Harry has reportedly rejected an invitation to his own father's 75th birthday party, according to insiders.

The party is due to take place next week at Clarence House, but Stateside Harry – of Megxit fame – has turned down the offer of fine champagne and family fun, as per a source who spoke to The Sunday Times.

The November 14 soiree is to be attended by a small group of close friends and family, but Harry is expected to snub the King a second time in a handful of months after he swerved the Monarch after the Well Child Awards in September.

His father is reported to have invited him to Balmoral around the time of the anniversary of the late Queen Elizabeth II's death, but it was not accepted.

The latest apparent snub comes after there were no publicised birthday wishes for Harry from his dad or any other royals on social media when he turned 39 in September.

Prince Harry continues to build a life for himself and his young family in Montecito, California. Since moving across the pond, Harry and Meghan have seemingly rebranded themselves by sitting down with Oprah Winfrey, collaborating with Netflix and penning bombshell memoirs.

The couple, who were recently seen at a Katy Perry concert alongside the likes of Celine Dion, have been rubbing shoulders with a slew of famous faces since moving to the States.

Royal commentator Jennie Bond said last month that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly severed ties with all members of the Royal Family, bar one.

She said that the only remaining connection is Princess Eugenie. Since stepping back from their Royal duties in 2020, the couple has had minimal contact with the family.

Jennie Bond criticised Harry and Meghan's rumoured association with the Kardashians, stating: "They seem to have cut all ties with the Royal Family – except for Princess Eugenie – so it seems inevitable that they will now embrace lives as La La Land celebs."
