Sussexes plan ‘reconciliation’ with Royal Family after memoir and Netflix series

The Sussexes are allegedly set for a "reconciliation" with members of the Royal Family, but only after the memoir and Netflix series are released.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to have been planning said reunion for a year, but only after the Duke of Sussex's memoir is released.

An alleged charm offensive on the Queen is said to have been the gambit for Harry and Meghan, whose plans were set back when the Queen passed away last month.

One insider has labelled the pair as "arrogant" and "deluded" after the pair's previous comments on racism within The Firm and the parenting skills of King Charles III.

The pair are said to have avoided criticising the 96-year-old monarch because and are now set to make changes to the memoir and Netflix series because its criticism of other members of the Royal Family.

Changes to the memoir include reducing the criticism of King Charles III and Queen Consort, Camilla Parker Bowles.

Both the memoir and the Netflix show are set for release before the end of this year, but major changes could be on the cards according to one insider.

Speaking to The Sun, an insider said: "Next year 2023 was to be their reconciliation year.

"They have always been careful to not criticise the monarch. They have always tried to be respectful to the Queen.

"But the Queen has now died and Charles and Camilla are the King and Queen. Clearly, this reconciliation attempt would never work if they have been critical of the new monarch, or both."

Sources close to the couple had even branded the period as their "era of visibility", marking the period as a piece of the "reconciliation" plan.

Criticising the period for the Sussexes, royal author Robert Jobson said: "Now this plot for a year of reconciliation. Their timing is appalling as always."
