Girl attacked in park by female gang who ‘kicked her head’ before robbing her

Police are desperately searching for a group of three girls who dragged a female teen to a wooded area and attacked her before robbing her.

Northamptonshire Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the attack in West Glebe Park in Corby, on Sunday April 4, to come forward.

The group "dragged" the victim into a wooded area and "kicked and punched her" between 5pm and 5.40pm.

It is understood the victim suffered "bruising to her head and body," and was also robbed after cash which "fell from her pocket" during the attack, Northants Police said in a statement.

Police described the suspects as three "white girls aged 16 to 18."

One of the girls wore a red hoody over a black vest top, it has been reported, teaming it with "grey flared trousers and big hoop earrings".

A second girl wore "a grey tracksuit and had blond hair worn in a pony-tail," while the third suspect wore a "black tracksuit".
