RED Rock Canyon's scenic loop has been closed following a shooting on Veterans Day.

Metro Police said that they are investigating the situation that broke out just before 6am on Thursday morning.

They also confirmed that "no LVMPD officers discharged their firearms during this incident."

The scenic route currently remains closed while police continue to investigate.
